Dear Moonstone Hunters,
This week the greatest of news reached our aged Goblin ears, reports of Wave 2 backers receiving their pledges!
Yes, the boxes have started arriving!
No doubt if you have yours already, you’ve been nose deep in the goodies within, and as with Wave 1, if you have any problems at all please Contact Us.
As for those still awaiting theirs, we ask that you are patient. Orders are going out as soon as our distributor is able to box them and send them, so yours will be getting to you soon!
At the last current count, there are still just under 200 orders to go out the door, so if you have yet to receive yours, do not panic, we haven’t forgotten yours!
In other news, following on from the success of our appearance at Salute in April, we have been invited by The Troll Trader to once again share space, only this times at the U.K. Games Expo in Birmingham at the very start of June! (More info on this in the next scheduled update), if you are going to be attending this event, please be sure to stop off and say hi!
Just as with Wave 1, I am hoping to feature any completed Moonstone projects/Miniatures you may have with Wave 2, if you would like to share your work and have them featured in upcoming updates then please E-Mail them over to us and we will get them featured for the next available update!

Shipping, Tournaments, Videos, oh my!

Dear Moonstone Hunters,
I'm super happy to inform you that as things have calmed down, Wave 2 shipping is well underway with around 100 orders now sent! What this means, is that with hope you should be seeing your orders arriving with you very soon!
Announcing: The Goblin Scheme!
That's right, we are proud to reveal that we are in the process of putting together our very own volunteer program which we are calling the Goblin Scheme. Our website www.moonstonethegame.com is currently undergoing renovation, and will very soon be shiny and new, complete with a fully complete page about exactly what this is in more detail.
In the meantime however, if you would like to know more information about the Goblin Scheme, or just outright like to volunteer to be our newest Goblin, and help promote Moonstone the game in your local community, then please get in touch!
New: Moonstone Monthly!
Starting this month, we are now putting out monthly videos where we talk about the ins and outs of different Moonstone characters, as well as early bites of Moonstone info and news!
We hope these will become a regular thing, and will allow us, Goblin King Games, to remain providing updates to our players once this KickStarter has concluded.
But that's not all!
When you thought you had it all, we have yet more!
On Sunday 29th July, at Firestorm Games in Cardiff, we are hosting our first officially sanctioned Moonstone Tournament! You're going to want to get in on this as soon as possible, as places are limited to 16 and all participants will receive a not yet released Moonstone Miniature! More information can be found here.

Moonstone at Salute!

Dear Moonstone Hunters,
To start with, the news you want to hear. We can confirm we are able to begin shipping out the first batch of Wave 2 orders this week! We are aiming to have all orders dispatched within the next 3-4 weeks!
We are also very pleased to report that Goblin King Games attended Salute 2018 over the weekend. Salute is the largest wargaming convention in the UK and it was a huge pleasure to finally meet some of our backers as they came to collect their completed pledges from us in person!
Now, I have no doubt that many of you are curious how Salute went for us, and we are so pleased to announce that our first time as traders at the show was a resounding success!

We attended with limited stock, making sure that what we were taking to Salute was additional product that had been cast up AFTER your own pledges, which you can see below!

But it wasn’t just a day of sales, oh no! Our demo table was busy from start to finish giving us opportunities to introduce entirely new people to the wonderfully whimsical world of Tauber, and also give existing backers a chance to play a game that they helped to build!

All in all, it was a tremendous day, where we were all worked to the bone and in dire need of a holiday, but are we resting on our laurels? Oh no!
Already work has begun in the writing of Book 2 for Moonstone, which promises to introduce more Humans, more Goblins, more Faeries, more Gnomes, more Trolls, more Giants, and even a whole new race!
So watch this space!

IMPORTANT: Pick n' Pack Update & Possible Salute Pickup!

Dear Moonstone Hunters,
We have a very important announcement to make! Please make sure you read to the end. :)
Some of you may know that we were very disappointed to miss out on Trading/Demo space at the UK’s largest Tabletop Miniatures convention Salute which is coming up in just over 2 weeks time on the 14th April. However, thanks to our friends at Troll Trader, who have generously allowed us to share their space – we will now be there after all!
Troll Trader are one of the UK’s largest global distributors and are keen to begin stocking the complete Moonstone range, for distribution into Local Games Stores worldwide as soon as fulfilment of this Kickstarter is complete and we have had a chance to rebuild stocks ready for retail.
You can come and visit us at their Booth TK13 for a demo, or to inspect up-close our beautifully painted studio miniatures.
In other news, the Goblin King himself has been at Firestorm Games this week to oversee the pick and pack process. Frustratingly, we are still waiting on delivery of several key miniatures (or parts on miniatures) from our caster but a full stock check is being carried out, all non-miniature items are present and correct, your individual packing lists and labels have been signed off and assembly has begun on the items we are able to complete with the miniatures stock we have received.
Now, we don’t want to get everyones hopes up prematurely, but there is a CHANCE we will be able to allow backers who are at Salute to collect their completed pledges on the day! This is a 100% dependant on us receiving the remaining miniatures from our caster in time. If things go really well between now and then we may even have a very limited amount of stock to sell on the day (Wave 1 items and Rulebooks, if not the full range).
So if you would like to collect your remaining pledge at Salute (and please be aware this is not guaranteed!) please let us know prior to 17:00 GMT on Wednesday 4th April by emailing [email protected].
We realise this is very short notice, but this is a very last minute opportunity for us. Oh, and if you do collected your pledge on the day, we will of course issue you a refund for any outstanding postage costs not incurred.

Preparing for Wave 2 Pick n Pack

Dear Moonstone Hunters,
Last update we gave you the news about an additional 4 weeks delay. Well we are now halfway through those 4 weeks, and according to our caster, our longest casting items are on course to be completed within the next two weeks.
In the meantime however, our Wave 1 remnants, as well as Big Guys and Gnomes are being boxed up to be sent to the distributor as I type this very message, (that’s right, it is those pesky Faeries which are holding everything up).
What this means, is that from next week our distributor will be able to begin the Pick n Pack process, and for those pledges not including those troublesome (and yet oh so beautiful) Fae folk, we will even be able to get boxes out of our doors and straight to yours!
But that’s not all! It occurred to us that we have yet to share with you anything to do with the Deluxe Rulebook, and while we don’t want to spoil the surprise which by now is so close you can almost feel it, we are able to share this teaser from the hands of the Goblin King himself!
