Starter Set Exclusives!

Dear Moonstone Hunters,
What a great couple of weeks it has been! Seriously, I can not stress the leaps and bounds we have made in progress these past two weeks.
Firstly, we have been tallying up the numbers and speaking to suppliers regarding the variety of boxes, books, and other gubbins that will be going into our pledges. We expect to be placing orders shortly for these and can not wait to show you how these will all look when hey hit our storehouses.
In other news, we have the renders back for our starter set exclusive miniatures for Friar Flavius (Commonwealth) and Grub (Dominion).
Friar Flavious, sculpted by Tom Lishman
First up is Friar Flavius. As you can see, he is an imposing man, with lots of exposed skin just waiting for your own free hand tattoos. In game Flavius brings the Commonwealth a variety of uses, ranging from his his heavy bludgeon, to effective healing.

Next up is Grub. Grub is a fast attack melee specialist, able to start on one side of the board, and quickly tunnel across and bring the attack to the enemy, all the while slowing down the opposition allowing your troupe to gain the tactical advantage.

But what is this? That is right, if you remember from our last update, we now have resin masters for a number of our Wave 1 Goblins. As you can see, these have now been assembled and based, and are with our painters and in no time at all will be ready to be shown off in our books, as well as demonstration tables.
As you can see from this picture, not only has our sculptors managed to truly capture the look of the original artwork perfectly, but have also translated to truly dynamic and incredibly detailed models.
I think it is fair to say that when you get your hands on these wonderful creations, you will not be disappointed.

The Goblins Are Coming!

Dear Moonstone Hunters!
For our regularly scheduled update, we have some truly amazing photos to share with you...
Goblins!
That's right, hot off the presses, we have our master sculpts back for The Goblin City. If you have backed for either the Two Player Starter Set, or The Goblin City Troupe Box, then these are the resin masters of the models that YOU will receive.
First up is the Vicious Midget, a model who's ferocity is dwarfed only by his stature.
Next up is Doug the Flatulent, a firm fan favourite complete with his KickStarter Exclusive Alternative Head.
Fast on their heels is our very own Goblin Alchemist, Beaky Bobby.
As an added bonus, we even have the first from the Mushrooms and Mayhem Troupe box:
Boom Boom McBoom! Who comes as standard with his blunderbuss comeplete with separate smoke cloud!
If you've followed the past few updates, you'll be familiar with the Map of Tauber and how it is very close to completion. At the time of writing it is currently in its last draft before being signed off. There are still a few minor adjustments we need to make before it is finally signed off, but we think you will agree that it looks very shiny indeed!
The World of Tauber

Dear Moonstone Hunters,
Over the past few months we have had our Gobin scribes travelling the width and breadth of Tauber chronicling everything they found. Every cave, mountain, settlement has been recorded and our chief cartographer has begun to collect it into what is being called the Map of Tauber.
Note: This is still a Work in Progress, but I think you will agree, it is beginning to look like a wonderful map that will take pride of place alongside other great fantasy classics.
From a designer point of view, this has been a real labour of love, it isn't very often you have a whole new world to create from the ground up, and we have worked tirelessly to ensure that no matter what fantasy style terrain you have as a player, this is reflected in our world.
In BackerKit news, you should have found your account has now been locked down, with postage and addons charged to your registered account. This was a groeling task with one of our team spending multiple hours every day of the week checking each account by hand to ensure that correct discounts for multiple orders had been applied correctly, all the while fighting a dreaded flu-demon that balked at his keep doors.

For gameplay news, the additional scenarios Go Home You're Drunk, and Ambush! Have both been draft written, with Ambush! being tested this very weekend. We hope that in the next update we will have more great news to share on these really fun scenario objectives.

Last Fortnightly Update Before BackerKit Closure

Dear Moonstone Hunters!
We are back again with your scheduled fortnightly update from within the rusted and beaten walls of the Goblin King's Citadel. We've been beaten, whipped, and flagellated, they even brought out Günter the 'overly friendly' Troll, but now we have some really great things to share with you!
Firstly our caster's new 3D printer is now firing on full steam and it really is a marvel of the modern age! We have truly never seen better quality prints than these babies.
Just have a look at the level of detail in that face! Believe us, the smartphone photo really doesn't do it justice. He truly looks as menacing and maniacal as we invisioned - and considering he was loosely based on one of our designers, I'm happy to reveal that the likeness is spot on, and they really managed to capture the designer's own features in this casting!
We also need to remind you that the BackerKit is due to close on 7th February, which at the time of scribing is only 4 days away!
So if you like what you are seeing and want to add yet more awesome goodies, all at a discounted price, and no doubt, quite some time before retail, now is the chance to do so and lock down your orders, or risk missing your opportunity, and losing out!

Last but not least, our own world builder has been continuing in-depth discussions with our favourite cartographer, and the Map of Tauber is beginning to take form, from blips on paper, to scribbled words, it is on it's way to the final product. We're hoping to show this off in our next update but its shaping up to be and amazing piece of art you'll all want to display in your gaming caves!

Hey Moonstone hunters!
This is just a quick REMINDER for anyone who has not yet completed their pledge manager (Backer Kit). There is now only 7 DAYS until we need to finalise orders, giving us our final production numbers. After this point you will not be able to add-to or amend your order. Cards will be charged a few days later once we have had a chance to manually check Multiple-Troupe-Box discounts have been correctly applied where appropriate.
About 90 backers are still to complete their survey. If this is you, please do it post haste! Missing the deadline could cause delays in receiving your orders so it is important that you act now.
