Dear Moonstone Hunters!

Can you believe two weeks have passed already? In Moonstone news we have plenty to share with you: 

Firstly Payments have now all been collected! This is great news as it means that we can finalise the Pledge Manager and get this out to each of you all at the tail end of next week, with lots of time for you to pick from the lovely add-ons! 

Secondly, sculpts of Fancyhat, Eric, Flintlock, Doug, and Beaky Bobby have been sent to our casters, we expect to have some lovely photos of these in the near future to share with you!

In rather exciting news, we have the first Work in Progress render of Boom Boom McBoom, which as you can see, is beginning to not only take shape, but looking very good! This incredible detail is brought to you from the super talented hands of Tom Lishman, the same man responsible for our fan favourite Firespitter!

Our Paper Dolls and Character Cards have been updated on the downloads page at https://moonstonethegame.com/downloads/ and www.wargamevault.com. So if you want to test out the latest version of characters, now is the time to grab the updated editions.

A good number of play tests have been done from a wide range of testers quite literally across the globe including a very well received public demo at Pegasus Games (http://www.pegasushobbiesandgames.com) by our very own head of design!

Last, but by no means least, our lore nerd and world builder has got his creative juices flowing in regards to creating the setting of Tauber that your games will be set within. Current favourites include the Spires of Cirrus, home to the Wizards' Tower, and the Sunken City of Moonreach.

The Dust Settles

Dearest Moonstone Hunters, 

Welcome to the first of our bi-weekly/fortnightly updates, your one stop shop for everything Moonstone! 

So a few days have passed, the champaign has popped, and the dust has settled, leaving everyone within the Goblin King’s Citadel just a little bit shocked and surprised, but also very happy and excited. It’s a new dawn for the denizens of Tauber, and one we are really glad to have you along for! 

So what is next?

Well for one, we aren't sitting on our laurels. Sculptors are being contacted and given permission to push forward with their myriad of tasks, artists are putting pen(cil) to paper, and writers are already prepping to type until their fingers bleed! Oh and an extra large order for motivational whips has indeed been ordered! 

Plus we have just updated our downloads page (www.moonstonethegame.com/downloads) as well as our page on WargameVault.com (http://www.wargamevault.com/browse/pub/10347/Goblin-King-Games?term=Goblin+ki&test_epoch=0) with our latest files including the starter set exclusives, Grub and Friar Flavius!

But that is not where our involvement with you is ending!

Oh no! We have already started looking at possible ways of developing our interactions with you, and you with each other. After all, we are at the fledging beginnings of a new community, all heralding from various origins, but united by our love for beautiful miniatures and interactive card mechanics (not to mention Pug Riders). One such possible avenue is a message board which you will be able to reach from our homepage at www.moonstonethegame.com, and another is a tactica wiki page for the sharing of ideas and strategies!

Currently these are all largely ‘in development’ but we hope to have something to show you the next few weeks.

However that does not mean that you can not get involved right now! Already we have seen this great play through post by Broken Meta and their first experiences of the game: http://www.brokenmeta.com/blog/2016/11/9/moonstone which we loved so much we just had to share with you!

So do you have a blog or YouTube channel and harbour desires about declaring your love for Moonstones, Goblins, Pugs, or the Commonwealth? Drop us a line and we’ll be sure to promote you and help you share the love!

Lastly, we would love to urge you all to download our test files, grab some friends, and give the game a try! We are at the prime time to get games in, test what works, and what doesn't! There is so many combinations out there, we are sure that there are imbalances out there that we haven't seen yet, or suggestions we have yet to make. You can get in there at the ground floor and help us to make this game the best game deserving of your truly amazing support!

To all our AMAZING backers!

We have been absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the support this project has received - better than we could have dared dream of! THANK YOU ALL so much!!

We are even more determined than ever to make this game the best we possibly can and one that is a deep and lasting feature of the tabletop game landscape! And you know what? We really think that's exactly what is going to happen! Miniatures are being printed and moulded as we speak and a whole bunch of new play testers have joined our ranks in recent days so we have everything well in hand on both the production and gameplay sides. :)

There is of course a hell of a lot left to do but we are so glad you chose to come along for the ride with us - you'll be getting plenty of updates from us as the project progresses!
